New York Man Won't Let Injury Slow Him Down
A 63-year-old man who was training diligently for a cross-country run to benefit hospice programs may have been sidelined by an injury, but that won't stop him yet.
Max Baer was well on his way to the 50-mile-per-day run when he slipped and fell in a local Wal-Mart, losing consciousness and breaking his tailbone. He has not given up on his training goals, though he has postponed his trip while he completes physical therapy.
